Our Dal Fry is a Kerala-inspired take on the classic lentil dish, blending toor dal (split pigeon peas) with a fragrant tempering of coconut oil, mustard seeds, cumin, and dried red chilies. Onions, tomatoes, and green chilies are sautéed to a golden perfection, while a generous sprinkle of fresh curry leaves adds a coastal twist. Infused with turmeric, coriander, and a hint of garam masala, this creamy dal is simmered to bring out its rich, comforting flavors.
